MILKY MOUSTACHE
Branding Identity - Design Studio II // PSD // AI // HTML
Graphic & Web Design students were tasked with branding a food-based company. I chose to create 'Milky Moustache'. A branch of restaurants that specializes in 'freakshakes'; crazy and over the top milkshakes for every foodie's palette.
PAST EVENTS

LOGO DESIGN
Trying to create a logo for a brand is still something I find insanely difficult. Branding truly is an art. I went through multiple versions, concept and ideas before coming to my final product. In the end it was something I was really proud of. I really enjoyed seeing my time and effort bring something beautiful to fruition. From the milkshake to just the moustache, this logo was a lot of trial and error.
BUSINESS CARD
Next was creating the business card. I think this was the easiest part, pink, cute, straight to the point. I think if I had to explain why I decided this would be best; it is a business card. I do not think a client would want to be confused looking for info on a business card, they want easy access, straight to the point. That's what I went for.

INFOGRAPHIC
Personally this was my favourite part. The freedom to showcase how I would market such a specific item of the food industry was a challenge I was ready to face. I figured it was best to focus on our main ingredient, milk! To represent the milk in glass type bars was an instant reaction and I just loved the way it came out. Going back I think at this point I started to question my choice of typography. But otherwise, I was satisfied.
MAGAZINE COVER
Next was creating an illustration for the front of my magazine. I think I represented it well and I definitely enjoyed creating the text effects and illustration. I think I had a nice balance and the typography is a little stronger here than the infographic.

WORDPRESS WEBSITE
Definitely my least favourite part. While I do get that Wordpress is something that client and business' that have no web experience can use easily, I hated it. I like coding, the experience behind typing seemingly endless lines of code and debugging. While using Wordpress was fast and efficient, I definitely do not think it was optimal for the project. But it did create quite the welcome page, so that is a plus!
